LPC Autumn Dink Classic 2026

Tournament FAQ

Do I need a partner? 

No! You can sign up as an individual and we will pair you with a similarly skilled player. Or you can sign up with a partner. You will play the full event with your partner. 

Will I be at the courts all day?

No! The day will be broken up into divisions that will follow these time frames:  

9am - Beginner (2.0-2.75)

12pm - Intermediate (3.0-3.5) 

3pm - Advanced (3.75+)

Times will be confirmed closer to the event. 

What if I’ve never done a tournament before? 

This is the perfect event for you! We expect that this will be a first tournament for many players.

Do I have to be a member of Lexington Pickleball Club to play?

No! You don’t have to be a member of Lexington Pickleball Club (LPC) to play in our tournament. However, you should become a member. It’s free! And you’ll get our monthly newsletter. Membership details here. 

Do the scores go to DUPR?

No. The goal of this tournament is to have fun, friendly competition. 

What ball will we use?

Games will be played with Franklin X-40 balls. They will be provided. 

Is there parking? 

Yes, there is plenty of parking at Clarke Middle School. If the lot right next to the courts is full, there is a larger lot slightly up the hill towards the school. 

Is this the same as Picklefest? 

This event will be run more like a traditional tournament with pairs of players in a particular skill bracket. Picklefest was a larger team format. We hope to bring back another event like Picklefest again in the future! Both fun, just a little different!
